Just above the hotel, there is an ancient cave, although the gate is damaged few years back. It is a challenging walk of around 2 hours taking you through forests. There is a strong belief that Pandavas stayed here during their exile. The Gufa (Cave) is situated at the height from where view of Manali valley is breathtaking.
Goddess Sharvari was the deity of Pandavas and presently the old structure is converted into new design but the central point is still same and ancient. It is about 30 minutes walk from the hotel and we can explore village Shuru on the way and see the life in an old Kullu Valley village. It would be a great experience of different civilization.
Jagatsukh is one KM from our hotel and it was the capital of Kullu Kings in ancient times before it was shifted to Raghunath Pur. Goddess Gayatri temple is made of stone and wood but adjoining Shiva temple is a masterpiece of rock art. We walk into the second biggest village of this district where the ancient architecture is still visible to astonish you.
